A question of staff size: Will 2012 bring new burst of hiring?

While recession forced many associations to cut back, some groups defied downturn and added staff; some see uptick moving forward For many associations, the recession cast a long shadow—certainly when it comes to staff size. Officially, the Great Recession lasted from December 2007 to June 2009, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research.
